Since we are so used to seeing him in the dapper and preppy scholarly look from the Harry Potter pegged role, Daniel moves into a more edgy role in the latest release of his dark thriller, "The Woman In Black" which premiered in Los Angeles today. He had a crowd of fans gather to join, in all black and head veils looking like a large funeral as they braved the scary movie about a haunted house where the spirit of an evil woman lived. It is sure to make you jump out of your seats as we discovered ourselves after the red carpet, so check it out... if you dare.

You would never guess by looking at this youthful comedic TV host, that she was over half a century old!! Yup, yesterday marked Ellen's 54th year and she looks nearly half her age or closest to the age of her young wife Portia Di Rossi. Ellen had her birthday episode on the "Ellen" show be shared with a special guest and TV host also, Jimmy Kimmel.

Jimmy gifted the birthday girl with his tribute to her, by putting together a video which had old photos of Ellen since childhood and in a Jimmy fashion, narrated a funny mockery of what he composed as her life story over time. But here in real time, Ellen and Portia set out to shop for a time piece together at the "Gruen Watch" store in West Hollywood before taking off in Ellen's Porsche (not to be confused with Portia, the girlfriend).

Today was a very celebratory day in Hollywood California as the Jackson Family, friends and a large crowd of tourists and fans gathered in front of the Graumann's Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard, to honor the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, in a legendary ceremony for adding him to the famous hand and feet print foundation that graces the entrance to the theater with tons of other iconic stars.

After a line up of guest speakers who shared their best memories and influential moments with MJ, like Chris Tucker, Smokey Robinson, Quincy Jones and Glee's dancer Harry Shum, had spoken, it was another great star who found his fame at a very young age and was very honored, Justin Bieber took the platform. He told of his dreams to be like Michael, to carry out the good he did for others and go beyond. Justin ended his speech with a tribute of his version, to a snippet of  Michael's "Rockin Robin", before passing the mic over to Katherine Jackson who told of her son Michael's legacy for children and the world, before introducing his children.

Prince, Blanket and Paris Jackson kneeled before a large slab of dark cement and carefully unraveled the plastic coverings of the worn items containing their fathers sparkled glove and his dancing shoes. They had practiced back stage together in the placement and were calm, happy and took extra care in their representation of their father. Paris inscribed Michael's name up top with a heart, while the boys placed the shoes and they all proudly got their hands dirty. Following the historical moment, was a live performance of the Cirque Du Soleil montage of Michael Jacksons songs and dance in his opening of the "Immortal World Tour" now out for you to see and embrace the spirit of what Michael loved.

Selena Gomez, wearing her new locks of purple and blue, performed on stage with a pre-line up show with her friends, the boy band "Big Time Rush", at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd as a benefit fundraiser for UNICEF, which Selena has been actively involved in since 2009. Selena will be traveling abroad to tend to the massive needs of UNICEF and is donating ALL of the proceeds from her sold out performance tonight, to the UNICEF organization. She said, " It's just going to be an acoustic performance that is organic and fun".

In addition to her performance, she decided to pull away from her music and go full time with acting after her travels in support of UNICEF and she has a couple of feature films in the making, "Spring Breakers" and "Hot Mess". Well this young woman is hardly a mess, in fact she is quite an equal match to her boyfriend Justin Bieber. Both very successful, wholesome, well rounded kids who have solid foundations, talent, ambition and good hearts driving them and their careers. The two are outstanding role models representing a lot, but mostly for what kids should be shaped more into, for what good they bring to the world.

It looks like the Nicky Minaj inspired Willow, has taken to the streets with her hipster friends to show off the latest pop stars fashion statement. A tribute to her mentor Minaj, who is featured in Willow's lateset double-platinum single, "Fireball". Willow now 11, proudly strutted her stuff as the pack leader who lead the gang down Rodeo Drive to do some shopping at the Louis Vuitton store. Of course, being the tourist mecca, she chose the perfect place to draw up a stirring crowd of fans who invaded the store to catch a glimpse of the Smith tribe as Willow and her brother Jaden (not pictured) made their selections in the high end boutique. What ever happened to good ol' Toys R Us, ha, I guess when your parents are both big celeb's, you learn the best and enjoy the best. In this case, Willow made out a happy girl with a few handbags and shot out kisses and dueces from the car window to the large fan base claiming Rodeo.

Fan's lined up for 16 hours wearing their best Katy Perry wigs and singing her hit sings all throughout the day while waiting for the pop star to make her appearance for the promotion and launch of her latest fragrance "Meow!", a extension of her other line "Purrr". She teamed up with Nordstrom Department stores and rode in on a huge restored vintage trolley car to her stage filled with all the pink candy and Christmas trees to make a girl happy, as the setting for her holiday gift idea.

Katy is quite witty and has a great sense of humor. So entertaining the crowd came easy for her, as she did an all too well known interpretation of her husband Russel's Brittish accent and shared many interesting facts about herself in answering fan questions from the audience. She said she loves her new scent and that if he would, she would love for Russel to wear it as well. "Its a sweet smell and makes you want to eat it", she added. Oh my.. well OKAY!! Sounds like an interesting line, better get some, they are a good stocking stuffer idea.

Lights, Camera, ACTION !! It's not so "quiet on the set" for this movie. As Ryan fires off rounds after rounds of gunfire to do his scene for this star studded movie, "Gangster Squad". With the fellow cast of Emma Stone, Josh Brolin, Sean Penn, Giovanni Ribisi and more, Gosling fights off criminal activity against mafia gang members, as the Sargent Jerry Wooters. The movie is about two Los Angeles police officers who lead a special task force, assigned to keep East Coast gangsters like "Mickey" played by Penn, out of their West Coast inner city. Emma plays the quick witted vixen, caught in a love triangle between Gosling and Penn. The film is scheduled for release in the Fall of 2012.

The boy's Nick & Kevin Jonas (not seen here), were spotted out together doing some early holiday shopping sans the wife and girlfriend. However, the girls weren't far from their minds as the two seemingly shopped at Burbury's & Barney's New York. With the holiday nearing, he is taking off time from work to join family between on stage performances and tours. Nick has had his long standing position with numerous musicals on Broadway, since the age of 7 as Tiny Tim in "A Christmas Carol", and recently in "Hairspray" as Link Larkin. Following this theater inspiration was brother Joe in La Boheme back in 2004 but who now also has debuted his first solo album "Fastlife" tipping the charts overseas. No doubt a very talented group of young men, we are sure to see more come out of them.

Usually it's Jessica's "Me" time, as she escapes from work, the new baby and family, to pamper herself in her often weekly mani-pedi with massage,  for an hour out of the week at her favorite nail salon. Today, she decided to bring along little Honor for a Mommy & Me day where Honor got her first manicure and pedicure while sitting across from mom. She chose pink and blue alternating colors and proudly displayed them to everyone as she marched off in her free flip flops. It was an adorable moment and you could tell, Jess was looking just as forward to this moment having a daughter. It is part of the mom fun to pass on the big girl things.

This Texas born Southern Bell and model turned actress, seems to be breaking in on the star meter with her big role as the Johnny Depp counterpart in "Rum Diary". She has just returned back home to Los Angeles after her quick Euro tour to promote her big movie. It seems to have gained a lot of attention to the viewers eyes as her role strikes the Trophy Blonde.

Though on screen she dazzles the men, it's quite the contrary to her in her personal life as she has an interest in women (sorry guys). I guess its safe then to say, Amber likes fast cars and fast women as she is often seen driving with both in this classic old school 1968 Mustang. Her relationship to ex-model and photographer, Taysa Van Ree, has been a standing one of over 2 years now, the two appeared on the red carpet not long ago to which prompted Amber to finally address the status of her preferences by say this in a statement:

"I hate the idea of a label just as much as anyone else but I’m with who I’m with, I love who I love and I’m if not a better actress than I was yesterday and my personal life should have no effect on that. I think that the injustice of people staying in the closet is more than I can bear with a clear conscience and I couldn’t sleep at night if I was a part of that problem".
